The Bible says that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Every person who is born into this world is born a sinner and must be born again in order to be saved and to live eternally with God. We have all heard the story of Adam and Eve and their disobedience and transgression against God. Because of the disobedience of the first man, mankind was destined to hell and there had to be repayment for mankind's sin.

We must realize that man is a tripart being: man is a spirit possessing a soul (mind, will and emotions) and he lives in a physical body. When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden their spirits died and they were separated from God. Man's spirit had to be reborn.

John 3:3-8 "There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”

Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”

Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh (your mother's womb) and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit (born of the spirit of God). Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Hebrews 9:22-24 “And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.”

Matthew 26:27-28 “Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, ‘Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.’”

Mark 1:4 “John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.”

Acts 2:37-38 (New King James Version) – “Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”

Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

We see by these scriptures that Jesus Christ is the way of salvation, for Jesus said Himself:

John 14:6 (New King James Version) - Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Romans 10:8-14 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart (spirit) that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart (your spirit) one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession (what you say) is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.

We see by these scriptures that Salvation is in Jesus Christ and Him alone. Jesus is the only way to God. If you bear witness with these scriptures and you desire to be saved and to make Jesus Christ Lord of your life, pray this simple prayer by faith and you can be assured that if you die tonight you will go home to be with the Lord.

Don’t just read it; make a conscious effort to speak these words from the very depths of your being (your heart). When you finish this prayer, you will be born again:

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus, I present myself to You. I pray and ask Jesus Christ to be Lord over my life. I believe it in my heart, so I say it with my mouth: “Jesus has been raised from the dead.” This moment, I make Him the Lord of my life. Lord Jesus, I ask you to come into my heart. I believe in my heart (spirit) and I confess with my mouth that God has raised Jesus from the dead and by faith in Jesus Christ I now say; “I am born again, I am a Christian. I am a child of Almighty God.” Now, I thank you Father for making me your child.

Colossians 1:12 says, “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us able to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.”

You have just become a partaker of an inheritance from God. You have just inherited the kingdom of God!
